Vita Eruhimovitz
Eruhimovitz’s works in this exhibition contain layers that are pushed, veiled, and re‑revealed until an interior state—of body and mind—clarifies on the surface. The paintings record intentional explorations of consciousness—ranging from Skin-to-Skin intimacy to cave-like, psychic geologies—where bodies and landscapes arise and dissolve, and painted images coexist with paint-as-object in a single field.

Christine Frerichs
Christine Frerichs makes intimate observational paintings of interior scenes in her home and studio. Each work is a result of repetitive sittings – observing and painting what remains and what changes over weeks, months or years. The evidence of love relationships and relationship to self, are felt through the order and disorder of objects left behind. Frerichs often works in series, and her medium is oil on wax coated paper, linen and canvas. Carefully considered compositions, layered textural surfaces and delicate shifts in color and light - her paintings reward prolonged viewing.
Christine Frerichs has exhibited at Klowden Mann, ACME, CB1 Gallery, Kaycee Olsen Gallery, and Young Art in Los Angeles, Duchess Presents in Chicago, the Riverside Art Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tucson, AZ, and Kevin Kavanagh Gallery in Dublin, Ireland among others. Her work has been reviewed by Artforum, Art ltd., the Los Angeles Times, and. published in New American Paintings. She received her MFA from UC Riverside, BFA from University of Arizona, and is currently Associate Professor of Art at East Los Angeles College. Frerichs' work is held in national and international private collections.
